The purpose of the 皇家华人 Bilingual Education Programs shall be to enable English learners to become proficient in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in the English language through the development of literacy and academic skills in the primary language and English.
Elementary Schools (PreK-5)
Bilingual Transitional
Northside鈥檚 Transitional bilingual/early exit is a bilingual program model model in which students identified as emergent bilingual students are served in both English and the students' primary language and are prepared to meet reclassification criteria to be successful in English instruction with no second language acquisition supports not earlier than two or later than five years after the student enrolls in school.
Bilingual Dual
The 皇家华人 Dual Language Bilingual Program model in Northside is research-based. The dual language model seeks to create bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural students by developing their academic proficiency in English and Spanish.
Middle Schools (6, 7, 8)

The 皇家华人 MS Dual Language immersion two-way bilingual program model in Northside is research-based. The dual language model seeks to create bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural students by developing their academic proficiency in English and Spanish. Two middle school campuses offer a dual language immersion two-way bilingual program.
